Can Grok set reminders and read them back hands-free?

Short answer: often yes on a phone โ€” if you've allowed Reminders/Calendar access and Grok voice is running. Here's a checklist and a 30-second demo you can try right now.

This is a how-to, not an official guide. Features vary by phone, OS version, region, and Grok app version โ€” we haven't verified every combo. "Hey Grok" shortcuts are a community idea, not ours. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, X, or xAI.

30-second phone demo script

  1. 0โ€“5s: Open Grok voice (tap, or "Siri, Hey Grok").
  2. 5โ€“15s: Say: "Remind me today at 6 PM to grab the laundry."
  3. 15โ€“20s: Listen for a confirm. If Grok asks for permission, tap Allow.
  4. 20โ€“30s: Say: "Read me my reminders for today." It should say the laundry one out loud.
  5. Check: Reminders app shows "grab the laundry, 6:00 PM". If not, it only talked about it โ€” use Siri for that reminder.
